Defensive Driving
Project ADAM provides a state-certified Defensive Driving school for individuals who are either legally mandated to attend or are seeking to reduce the number of points on their license. The school is also available to those needing to attend a defensive driving course due to a job requirement as well as individuals seeking insurance discounts.
The Project ADAM Defensive Driving Program requires individuals to complete the state-mandated, 6-hour course. The objective of the Defensive Driving Program is to identify and intervene effectively with persons who drive aggressively, in addition to teaching students how to become safe, defensive drivers who adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and also understand that driving is a privilege.
Class Information
The Defensive Driving class takes place from 8 am to 3 pm on a Saturday. Do not be late for class; doors close at 8 am. The registration fee must be payed in full before 5 pm on the Friday before class begins. The class is held at Project ADAM, which is located at 112 Lanthier Street, Winder, GA. Certificates will be awarded for reinstatement, points reduction, or as required by the court.
Cost of Program: $75 (must be paid in full before 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before class begins)
